“Stay Here, Rest, sit down” is one of the Aboriginal meanings of Allawah.
Resting your mind, body and soul and sitting down to reconnect and relax.
There you will find it very easy to do in the beautiful surroundings of Sisters

Beach and the comfortable ambience of Allawah.

From the moment the morning sun filters through the trees and fills the

cottage with its warmth and light you will understand.

With a spacious and sunny open plan living area and three comfortable
bedrooms there is room enough for the whole family to enjoy.
Relax outdoors on the deck or grab a good book and lay back on the

daybed in the undercover outdoor space.

With plenty to explore and as much, or little, to do as you please we know
you will enjoy your stay at Allawah so stay here, rest, sit down.

Allawah is located on Tasmania’s north-west coast, nestled in the small
village of Sisters Beach where you may relax and enjoy the natural
surroundings. A nice, friendly beach town without too many crowds, it is the
perfect place to swim and play or if feeling a little more adventurous take a

walk or hike in the Rocky Cape National Park.

Sisters Beach itself is situated in a beautifully unique location, surrounded
by the spectacular Rocky Cape National Park and Bass Strait. Locals and
tourists visit here for the unspoilt beaches and creek, spectacular coastline

scenery, and quiet bush surroundings.

Rocky Cape National Park is known for its diverse native flora and fauna.
Wallabies, Tassie Devils, and echidnas just to name a few as well as
abundant bird and sea life all dwell in the Rocky Cape National Park, and it
is not uncommon for some to come to visit in the village! These native
animals all live among the stunning native flora found here.
There are numerous wonderful walking tracks throughout the national park
that begin at Sisters Beach and lead to caves, beaches, waterfalls, and
beautiful coastal and inland scenery. With walks ranging in length from
twenty minutes to eight hours there will be one to suit everyone from the

beginner to the seasoned bush walker.

The Little Sisters General Store which is located practically next door to
Allawah is more than just a great place to eat. They make a great coffee
and is often the heart and atmosphere of Sisters Beach, regularly hosting
markets and live music. It is a licenced venue and a great place to visit for
a drink or two and enjoy a delicious pizza on the weekend.
With lots to see and do Sisters Beach is suitable for families as well as
couples looking for an escape from the everyday. A great place to base

yourself while exploring Tasmania’s North-West.
We look forward to welcoming you!
