A LITTLE SHACK ON THE OCEAN
Moving South, follow a road, past a beach, past a bay and a neck that almost cuts you off from the world. This is where a new story starts. Seafarers came here and whale blood was spilt. Boats sank and survivors reckoned with wild winds and waves. Voyagers rest here. This is a place for refuge, while wildness beckons beyond the windows.
Welcome to The House of the Weedy Sea Dragon! Named after the beautiful seahorses The Tasman Peninsula is famous for.
Set on the sand-dunes of Pirates Bay our beachfront cottage is an original 1960's shack. The sound of the roaring waves surrounds you in this amazing nook nestled on the bay.
THE SPACE
Beautifully and lovingly decorated with antiques, keep sakes and treasures. This is the perfect spot for a roaring fire and a night in with wine and board games, or a setting to embark on the surfing, trekking and fishing adventures that the Tasman Peninsula has to offer.
With 3 bedrooms the house sleeps 6 and it is great for couples, groups, families or for the solo traveller.
The kitchen is modern and the living room cozy and wonderful with the fire!
We have a cupboard full of board games for you.
The house features a master bedroom and two small side bedrooms.
Outside there is a deck to enjoy an evening wine and a huge private lawn with a fire pit to roast marshmallows.
The shack is one of two properties sharing a driveway. The other property also hosts guests - so you may run into them in the car park.
