THE SPACE

We have characteristically renovated our little two bedroom 1960’s beach shack, it has a warm country style feel with lots of beach and sea decor we have collected over the years.

Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, with a well equipped kitchen. Spacious new bathroom.

 

Enjoy the multiple sitting areas outside with a large wrap around deck and undercover areas to relax in.

With two outdoor fire pots, you can choose where you watch the sun go down.

 

Discover the natural walking tracks and wide ocean beach behind our own sand dune.

 

Enjoy the top of the dune, it has a beautiful outlook capturing the mouth of the river, walking tracks and over looking the local shacks with glimpses of the beach and river through the trees.

Weymouth is a quiet little township, I wouldn’t call it remote but it’s not uncommon to have the beach or river to yourself.

 

The river beach is a safe swimming location meters from the shack, a sheltered haven ideal for kayaks and paddle boards.

There are shared bbq’s and sitting areas to enjoy by the river.

 

For those interested in fishing there is a small boat ramp 150 meters from the shack and a large sea ramp a short two minute drive.

 

There is a local park and tennis court also 200 metres from the shack.
