THE WAYFARER

LOCATION : EAGLEHAWK NECK

Images c/o  The Wayfarer

The Wayfarer overlooks stunning Pirates Bay at Eaglehawk Neck, with panoramic views of the everchanging Tasman Sea, the ocean beach and the gentler Norfolk Bay on the opposite side of the Neck.

The treasures of the Tasman Peninsula are all close by, waiting to be explored.  From the famous Port Arthur convict settlement to surfing beaches, fishing and Tasman Sea cruising and the Three Capes walking tracks, remarkable scenery beckons.

The Wayfarer is a classic 1970’s shack, owned by the one family until it changed hands a couple of years ago. It has been tastefully renovated by Lainie & Tim,

retaining the warmth and welcoming feel of its origins. Simple touches and family treasures make it the perfect escape from the stresses of modern life – a chance to slow right down and immerse yourself in the sounds of the ocean and surrounding bush.

With large windows framing expansive sunlit views, this shack’s stylish interior

invites you to settle in, unwind and leave a busy world behind.

Curl up on the generous sofa with a blanket and a book, lounge on an inviting cushion by the wood fire with your favourite music and a board game, or simply enjoy a glass of delicious Tassie wine, whisky or gin in the rocking chair as you watch the sun go down.

The Wayfarer is suitable for couples, families, a getaway with friends or even the solo traveller. It offers 2 bedrooms, a new bathroom, cosy, sun-drenched sitting room, fully equipped kitchen and a wrap-around deck – all designed to prioritise your comfort and maximise your downtime.

So come prepared to fall asleep to the lullaby of the waves from the super comfy beds or sip a coffee at the breakfast bar, staring out at that captivating view.

If you are lucky, you might just spot a migrating whale, a pod of dolphins, a passing yacht, or the occasional hang glider. . . . . .
