A quiet little surf shack set on the edge of Akaroa, in a sleepy cul-de-sac just minutes away from Beer Barrel beach and Peron Dunes.
Built back in '72, the once sea foam green shack, has undergone a loving restoration. The owners have kept some nostalgic touches with the barn doors and surfboard in the bedroom, made using the old bunk beds from the original shack.
The light and airy space is perfect to entertain friends and family, with a full kitchen, modern spacious bathroom/laundry, a fire pit, deck with a Weber bbq and outdoor shower. With a record player & selection of nostalgia vinyl to play, you can enjoy the best of Summer days or curl up on the couch for those cosy Winter nights with the fire crackling watching Netflix.
And then there is the addition of a 1970's "Millard" caravan, that has also had a new lease on life, turning the shack into a two bedroom space. (there are no bathroom facilities in the caravan, you'll need to use those in the shack)
"Muka Akaroa" shack is ready to welcome all guests for all the year round.
Only ten minutes from St. Helens and thirty minutes to the beautiful Bay of Fires.
