Perched on 20 acres of natural bushland overlooking Pirates Bay of Eaglehawk neck. The property is private and quiet with 2 sides of the property being bordered with national parks land making it the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature with sounds of the birds and sea from below. The property is close enough to walk to the beach and there is a great hot outdoor shower to enjoy after.

This is an original property of Eaglehawk neck, the shack built over 50 years ago. We bought this property for our family and the first thought we had was how unique and special the land was and secondly we saw the potential to save this beautiful old shack. We have done all the work ourselves using recycled materials where possible, milling timber from the property to clad the house and saving old floorboards and original metal windows, it is full of character. The house consists of 3 bedrooms the master room upstairs with a king bed and 2 rooms downstairs with multiple configuration available. Upstairs is the kitchen, bathroom and living room all looking out at the ocean with a large deck.

There are old fire trails throughout the property you are welcome to walk on, there are 2 damns and an abundance of birds and wildlife to see.

The sun and moon rise over the horizon on a clear sky ,the waves crashing and stars at night are all beautiful parts of staying at this property.

Guests have access to the whole property make yourself at home and enjoy the surrounds. Plenty of privacy and seclusion yet only a walk away from the beach. Please drive slow on the shared gravel driveway with neighbouring properties.

Up at the house there is plenty of space for parking and parking a boat if you are coming to Eaglehawk neck for it’s great fishing diving and surfing .

Other things to note

Additional Bedrooms (Downstairs):

The main nightly rate covers upstairs only (sleeps 2).

If your group would like to use the downstairs bedrooms, there is a small $40 per room cleaning fee, added manually once you confirm which rooms you need.

Just let us know your group size and preferred setup, and we’ll organise the rest.

Downstairs we have options for a king bed or 2 singles in one room and bunk beds and a queen sofa bed in the other , Also available is a Porta cot if needed in any room.

If you are bringing your dog just to note there is no fencing of the property, there is a gate on the front deck of the house which can be closed and is a good place for them to sleep at night to not disturb the abundance of wildlife around, they can also sleep inside on a dog bed or in the bathroom laundry area. Dogs must be in control at all times and stay on the property and please tell us if you are planning to bring your furry friends. Dogs are not to be on any of the furniture or go downstairs in the house. As long as they don’t disturb the wildlife they can be walked around the property and pirates bay beach is dog friendly the perfect place for them to have a run and swim .
