Tucked away on a peaceful 40-acre farm in Tasmania's beautiful Huon Valley, The Barn is a lovingly restored 1935 barn where country charm meets laid-back luxury.

What was once an old working barn has been carefully transformed over several years by owners Matthew and Jolanda into a warm and welcoming retreat for families and friends. Original timber beams, cosy interiors and thoughtful touches honour the building's history, while modern comforts ensure every stay is relaxing and memorable.

Wake to the sounds of birdsong, wander through the orchard, meet our friendly Highland cattle, alpacas, goats, sheep and chickens, or simply curl up beside the wood fire with a good book and a glass of local Tasmanian wine. Outside, gather around the fireside kitchen with a pizza oven and barbecue, sharing long lunches or cosy evenings beneath the stars.

Perfectly positioned just minutes from the charming township of Cygnet and within easy reach of Hobart, The Barn is an ideal base for exploring the Huon Valley, Bruny Island and southern Tasmania. Spend your days discovering local wineries, artisan producers, galleries and walking trails before returning to the peace and quiet of the farm.

Whether you're planning a family getaway, a weekend with friends, or simply looking to slow down and reconnect with nature, The Barn offers a genuine Tasmanian farmstay experience where time seems to slow and lasting memories are made.
